Yeah, I'm pretty sure you're supposed to have pro tools on the windows partition, and the other drive/partition will be the audio drive. I'm not sure how much space you really need. We have a 80gb drive with windows and protools, and a 200gb as our audio drive. We aren't using much space right now though. I haven't given it a whole lot of thought but I would probably partition one of the drives in half and have that be the dual boot drive, and leave the other 250gb as it is and use it as the audio drive. Also you could probably split both drives in half and each partition can have it's own "audio" drive if you know what i mean. UPDATE: actually you could probably make your partition for protools a lot smaller since it won't take up much. Yeah I just read too that the outer edge was faster. I don't know much about it and how much difference it makes. I saw it here: We have WinXP SP2 with PT 6.4 and 002. We just had to install the 6.4cs patches for Pro Tools to work. It runs great for us. Nice parts by the way. Must have cost a little bit How much ram are you getting?
