How can I find when a car was manufactured?

Hi, I'm trying to find out when a car was manufactured to see if its eligable for free road tax, is there any way of finding this out? Its a 144. Thanks Toby

Go to DVLA website at the link below and selcet vehicle enquiry ..input vehicle details and there you go..

Surely the DVLA website gives you date of first registration not manufacture. I phoned Gothenburg to get the date for my imported 244 - they gave me this over the phone and sent a letter of confirmation which satisfied DVLA. Mike
