No audio in movie (Xvid)

I have this movie compressed with Xvid ,but in the propertier or ID Tag it doesn't say what is the audio format,and while playing the movie i have no sound and it says that some of the streams are in an unsupported format.BTW, I have the 3.95 lame codec and the proper divx/xvid codecs ,and also virtual dub installed. If someone knows how to get the sound plz help. THX

Try vdubmod instead of vdub - it supports more audio formats than vdub. Open your file in vdubmod and select Stream List from the Streams menu. It should tell you what format the audio is in, then you can search for the appropriate codec to play it back.

yeah vdub mod did the job thx.I needed the ac o.7 filter and now the movie has sound :)
